Thank you very much. I too had dropped from MA history from delhi university for upsc preparation. There is no point of doing MA if you just want to pass it. And for scoring good marks, you have engage in everyday class discussion, and most challenging is weekly research article which we have to make.

I think your decision was bad because we all of know in current scenario how UPSC being difficult day by day. I tell about own personal experience. And in DU History department more liberal than JNU CHS. Upar se UPSC aapko ek time bad monotonous life de deti hai but iske sath aap kahi engage rahte hai to aapka mental health bhi sahi rhta hai. But it was your choice brother.

@@anandkumarsahil I took this decision after a lot of deliberation. Since I was not able to cope with term paper and pyqs were not repeating. And at last there exists no vacancy for assistant professor. And for central University, you need to have PhD to improve your API score I had cleared this year prelims but failed in CSAT. Will try my best next time.

@@anandkumarsahil there is only hype about DU. Everyone there practice rote learning which will not give them job. MA degree won't give you job. My elder sister is PhD holder in law from nlu Delhi still she is unemployed.

It's nearly impossible, first of all you'll not get enough time and if you could manage that then you have to travel for at least 4 hours a day to attend coaching. Cause coaching hubs in Delhi are away from JNU.

No, not at all. You can't join any offline coaching institute situated at ORN as they are far away from JNU and you will not get ample time to manage both academics in JNU and UPSC simultaneously.

Yes you can take admission in JNU. If you wanna do upsc along with ug foreign language then Persian pasto Spanish could be a better choice

Don't make a decision only from my view. Apne dil ki suno or MA ke sath UPSC utna smoothly kahin se bhi nhi ho paega hn few degrees of changes ho sakte hai college to college but choose yourself and choose wisely

I'll vote for JNU you'll get better exposure and the UPSC ambience of Delhi. Upsc studies might get a bit slow but Delhi and JNU together is the best package for a Student
