I did the recipe and picture of a receipt of vinegar pie that my husbands grandmother use to make every Christmas!! Before she passed I asked her to write the recipe down for me so I made copies and found pictures of each of my mother-in-law and all 4 siblings and put them in a frame and they really have loved that gift!

Santa looks great reigning over the North Pole. That mailbox is absolutely charming as is the sleigh and reindeer. What a thoughtful mother you have! We live in a three story home and have a big tree on every floor with most of the bedrooms having a tree as well. One of the trees, 12 ft, I decorated with flocked swags and it is absolutely stunning. I have enjoyed your video tonight as usual. 😊 Can't wait for the next. Your trees look beautiful!!!!❤

It has been snowing here in our corner of OH all day! So beautiful, even though it won't last long. Awww, your Mom is a cutie! I miss my Mom so very much, but I have many things that remind me of her. Your house is a feast for the eyes, and I love this room for the sentimental items. We have my father-in-law's recipe for Goetta (kind of like scrapple, I'm told) in his handwriting. Very special. I was skeptical of painting that cute mailbox white, but you jazzed it back up with the gold and it looks fabulous underneath the charming Santa holding the list of your kids' names. I had to giggle as you decorated under the tree, just imagining what my 2 frisky little dogs would do with the polyfil and wondering if they would survive chewing on the strings of lights. I am content with my little 2' tree on a stool, out of their reach. I enjoy seeing your luxurious home. Then, like a grandmother leaving the kids behind, I can feel satisfied after the feast for my eyes in YOUR house where I don't have to do all that work. I will completely redecorate my little tree this year; then, maybe after Valentine's Day, pop it back in the box fully decorated and ready for next year.
