The Cabasse La Sphère are the perfect speakers to listen to The Residents finest songs. The idea to measure the acoustic specs of the listening room, send them to Cabasse data processing center and send back the tailor-made settings to the speakers is nothing short of genius. It's like a personalized firmware update. Maybe one day some TV, computer or smartphone companies will do the same kind of thing to adjust their products to the specific uses, needs and surroundings of each consumer. You can call yourself a "Neandertal audiophile" but your technical description of this system is 100x more insightful and accurate than the one I saw from a French millenial audio youtuber who said the RCA line input can accomodate a turntable without even saying there's no integrated phono preamp, he thought the only online streaming service available is Qobuz, he didn't know about the online settings adjusting to the listening room and so on.

I love your review. What im wandering about is if you can add a subwoofer to this system. As clear as they sound i have not heard a very deep bass coming from these little ones on the sound demos you can find on the internet. Cabasse website also is not clear if a subwoofer can be added

You can use a subwoofer like The Pearl Sub that is using the same wireless and wired tech as the Rialto system. BTW the Rialto can get to 30 Hz in the low frequency range.

I was really interested in Cabasse Pearls until I discovered they're not Roon Ready and don't have any plans to pursue that certification. Very disappointing...
