Thats a classic case of projection. Rita was guilty of cheating and making her husband care for the affair child, so assumed her daughter was guilty of the same. I dont know what it is with people like that. I'm guessing its guilt, but if they felt guilty, they hopefully wouldnt of done it in the first place, so not actually sure why then. 😩 and damn, i can tell i listen to way too many of these stories. Anyways, Rita got what was coming to her. Also, meant to add, I'm glad to hear that Luke is still treating the OPs husband like his son. Considering he's been his father for 25 yrs, I'm glad he didn't cut him off once he found out he wasn't biologically his son. Biologically or not, that's still his son.
