Thank you so much my dearest Christine for your lovely words 🙏🏼🥰 I did it in April 2021 before I had the KZbin channel but I have it on Instagram. It was a special present for my husband who was in Athens hospital for a long period. He was very ill and I made it because he is the 🧑‍🍳cook in our family. I also did a mosaic backsplash in my kitchen and bathroom. I used broken plates, broken glass, glass gems, rocks, sea shells and pieces of jewelry.

I love your works, I just got relaxed to watch you working and I would like to try it. Could you please advise what kind of flour do you use? Is it some special flour? As you used ingredients of dough and is this glue water resistant? Won’t it be damaged by rain? Sorry for so many questions but I’m so excited and want to try

Hallo my dear 🥰🙏🏼don’t worry about those questions, actually I’m doing the same, I always ask if I don’t know something. This is a normal flour for cooking, you can buy the cheapest one, it’s not water resistant you can see it on my last 2 Mosaic table how I took off the paper with water 💦 I have some related videos under the description. As I understand it the glue is not meant to be permanent. It's only meant to hold the pieces together until you flip it over and then take the paper off.

Mariella. Fabulous artwork but there is something I don't understand with this technique? So, you make the mosaic first, and then put glue on paper and put it on top of the mosaic so it can be transferred? What I don't understand is this. If this were a table you were doing (as per what you showed on your video), why wouldn't you just place the mosaic pieces directly on the table?

I think it’s a way of getting all the tiles with different thickness smooth and therefore same level for the table top. Other wise if you past them directly on the table each individual tile would need to be leveled otherwise it would make the table bumpy. This ensures a nice smooth table top.
