Upskilling young people as auto-mechanics in Turkana County, Kenya

In Turkana County, where there is a high demand for professional auto-mechanic services, 18 youths from both the Kakuma refugee camp and the host community in that area have been enrolled in a one-year auto-mechanic and entrepreneurship training programme. This was supported through a partnership between UNDP Kenya, UNHCR Kenya, Toyota Academy Kenya and the Government of Japan.
