A very lucky student. What I absolutely loved is when you would say how you would have made improvements to the design if you were the builders like the bar area should have 2 chairs instead and the cabinet above the sink should have been higher to allow room for toiletries. I sit there thinking " yes, she is absolutely right!".

Miriam Manzo you are way ahead of the game. I feel you were restrained by the client's budget. Your console choices informed and uplifted. I never karate chop cushions as they are art pieces and look weird squashed. However it is for the young ones!

I adore the architectural elements of the building. The Art Deco period was elegant and glamourous. Great idea to continue that theme into the condo. That console in the living space is swoon worthy. Agree that a waterfall counter on the island would be better. Brass and gunmetal works well together. The client should be very pleased.

What an incredible change within such a short period and with just few touch-ups! I would not place any items on top of a toilet basin though, especially tooth brushes. Too many germs!

I think if he's a guy. He's gonna want a little more lounge space. I dont understand why you keep furnishing these male student dwellings like they are females or old married couples? A white/beige sofa for a guy is just plain weird. He's gonna be afraid to funk it up or get it dirty! You should of gave him a leather sofa or a modular sectional that he can lounge on with his friends. You set up the dining table like a card table which I think was nice. However I doubt he would use it more than he would use the bar stools with the drink set up. You talk about being practical in your design, but when you design for young men I see none of it!. I would of nixed that table all together and gave him more bar stools again in leather, wood, or metal, and then maybe 2 leather chairs he could use as a gaming or music lounge just right behind the bar with some nice electronics and drink tables and one of your cowhide rugs...lol I like them!. You have great ideas for families and you seem to understand that a space has to be functional. However this is 2022 not 1965! Give the guy some cool tech, some lounge spaces, spaces to entertain. Those lamps plopped on old books is not it!, Nor were the old books mixed with the Alcohol and statues it made no sense. I guess those burnt orange chairs are ok? Not a fan! I thought the purpose of an oversized medicine cabinet was to be able to hide your daily grooming products, why would you want to showcase them? So I would nix the shelves over the toilet for some cool trendy artwork ...Masculine artwork! I understand why you like the shelves in a bathroom ...because most medicine cabinets are tiny!...If I had that huge medicine cabinet I would definitely hide all my products behind it so I could display a cool sexy picture or quote over the toilet. I thought CB2 and Sunpan had more masculine items...IDK? That marble front crendenza was everything! You killed that. I even liked the lamps just not plopped on those old books, and those old books on the coffee table were a no no too!
