Recently upgraded to the QSC K Series. I now have 2 K10's and 1 KSub. Amazing speakers. I review them a little bit and explain why I chose the K10's over the K12's.
I forgot to mention in the video, QSC has a 6 year warranty on these speakers!!
Check out Rick's videos on these speakers also:

K Series Features
DEEP™
Sophisticated digital signal processing provides greater low-frequency extension while precisely protecting the woofer from over-excursion.
DMT
Directivity Matched Transition matches the HF coverage angle to the natural coverage angle of the woofer for uniform frequency response over the entire coverage area.
Conical Wave Guide
The conical wave guide eliminates the phase distortions of typical asymmetric horns for more natural reproduction.
1000 Watts
The same state of the art, light-weight Class D amplifier module powers all the K Series models.
EQ Modes
Optimize for a specific application with the simple flip of a switch.
Energy Management
Automatic standby mode conserves energy and extends the life of the loudspeaker.
LED Operation
Turn of the front panel power LED or switch it to show limiting operation.
Remote Control
Easy to use remote gain control is ideal for installed applications.
Pro Appearance
Sleek lines and a full grille for a more professional look than other molded loudspeakers.
Locking IEC Power Cable
Help prevent unexpected interruptions.
Connectivity
Mic/line and RCA inputs along with onboard mixing controls allow greater flexibility.
Tilt-Direct™ Pole Mount
A simple turn of the dial is all it takes to alter the K Series directivity by 7.5 degrees.
Suspension and Mounting
With integrated threaded inserts, K Series is equally at home in mounted or flown applications.
Threaded Pole
The KSub comes with a threaded pole for a snug, safe fit.
Rugged Construction
K Series fullrange enclosures are molded from ABS, a harder more rigid material than typical plastics.
Intrinsic Correction
An exclusive QSC process that applies extensive acoustic measurements to noticeably improve audio quality.
Class D
Higher efficiency produces less heat and more sonic performance with lower overall current draw.
Protections
QSC's Guardrail™ technology protect your loudspeakers from overexcursion. On-demand cooling fan and thermal limiting prevent overheated electronics.

I LOVE my 2 K10's and KSub! It just sounds so fantastic, clear and plenty of base. I like learning more about them, so keep posting info on how they work. I do karaoke and did not know they had the voice switch, so I will give that a try this week.

The sub extension pole will be useful by some people that do have two subs. The added 3 db is great if you have that option but a lot of people will buy two subs and would prefer to mount the top boxes over the subs. Good sounding stuff regardless of how you choose to set it up! Thanks man!

Stefan - great video and product review. I used my k12's last week with one jbl powered sub. I guess I have to keep using them and tweeking them. As I got further away from the sub and closer to the k12 the speaker was loud and high treble. I am planning to purchase the driverack PX , which I would recommend for you also. My freind Brian has it and says it makes your rig sound 100x better and it helps to balance everything out!

Loving your explanation on why you chose to go with the k10s. I'm wanting to go the same route, just waiting for the right time. Also what is the name of the intro song you used in the vid? Sounds good!

Stefan thank you for the info you and a few of the other guys helped me make my choice k10s are amazing, i have just done my first gig and they over delivered. I have done some tests using a LD sub that i have anyway as the sub is underpowered compared with the K10s i use the sub as reinforcement running the k10s full range with the sub giving it a bit more bottom but to be honest i dont see me using it that often marques big sports halls, 99 percent will just be with the 2 x 10 inch k 10s

Very informative video, Stefan, can you tell me what is the continuous wattage on the K10 and K12 please? What will these two continuously push all night? I am getting mixed answers from various sources. Thank you.

Nice review. I have the Ksub but it is nothing compared to the KW181. The KW181 out performs it easily. Do you happen to use the pole extender for the k8 or k10's? I just ordered one.

Hi Stefan, Thank you for doing these videos, they have really been helpful. It's been a year since this video, can you tell me how you feel about them. I have heard they can overheat and get distorted after a few hours. I was going to get this system, but I would like your advice. Thanks, and keep up the great work!

@uptownxpress Ok, thanks Stef, yeah the 18" will be too much I think for this specific application. We just want the warmth, and smooth sound of the K10 and KSub, (I went to my local guitar center today listened to them, and I really think it would be perfect). We just need audio reinforcement for speech and some instruments, so they can be heard by everyone, we do not need to shake them out of their seats.... hahaha.. Thanks for the help, and keep up the great work! -Ken

Stefan great job just at the point when im looking like a lot of our community for very high quality smaller powered speakers, it seems to be between the QSC, dj nigel has just got some i believe, and the RCF that brian redd has. i understand the qsc has a digital amp how are you finding this some talk of some digital amps distorting after a 20 min or so, Thank you so much for the info....STAY MOBILE BROTHER!

Hey Stef, would you think these are a good choice for a church install? I am looking at a pair of these and a pair of KSubs, for an install at a church for maximum 200 people. Would you think these would be fine? I have used the K12's in the past and love them. Thanks, Ken

I just heard a pair of the K12's in Guitar Center and they are some bad little speakers. I was so impressed with the output on them and the weight was great as well. The K8's also have impressive bass output. I heard the HPR153i and it blew me away. I am a believer in QSC now haha.

Recently bought 2 ksubs and 2 k12's your video review helped me to decide. I am slightly confused as to the best way to connect the signal. The store where I bought them say to connect the signal into the Ksub first then to the K12, but the instruction diagram shows the signal going into the K12 then out to the Ksub. What do you reccommend?

@uptownxpress Stef, I love the K 12's,I use them a lot for mobile gigs, but the specific church sanctuary is really wide where we have to mount them, thats why I was looking at the K10's with the larger coverage pattern. The church will not go any louder than 90-95 dB, its mainly for a "full" sound. Will the KSub's be enough for bass?? I use a JBL 18" sub regularly, but I do not need a ton of low end, just enough bass to enhance the overall sound (full range). Thanks.

@uptownxpress I'm running 2 jbl prx635's but they are installed in a 20ft x 20ft room and they are too boomy and heavy and I want to add sub bass into the room so the 635's are just over kill. Really I'm looking for smaller faster speakers, they need to be at least 1000k, what do you think I should replace my 635's with. What would you buy if you were me. I like the look of these k10's. cheers john

Could you not just counter the angles of the 12's being less by simply turning each speaker slightly outward from one another? Thus reaching those who could be on your left and right sides and still reaching the middle of your venue just fine?

Depends on your needs! I am still using them, and they still sound great! For sure there are newer, more powerful, and more advanced solutions out there now. They also cost double what these cost. So it really depends on what your needs and typical use will be.

they cant over come the crow noise and yes they were driven to max or into clip Im not saying that you shouldnt buy this product what im saying.. is if you do large places you should consider something else, but if you do lil gigs 250 people and less this things would do a great job.. still i would consider buying 15inchs and not buying subs a pair of dual 15inch cabinet with about 500w are the most apropiate. may seem heavy but no need for subs :D

bigger doesnt sound better.. bigger drivers are more efficient reproducing lower frequiecy. you can do pretty much any gig with a pair of 15inch drivers. it would produce a nice punch and a good low bass. however a 12 cant reproduce the bass as good as a 15 with this on mind you would have to use a sub.. and extra box... I have play side by side.. with live bands usin Ks and me usin only a pair of VRXs 932s 12in drivers they sound good but....

Listen this is old but anybody new comes here need to know get the qsc cp 12s don’t buy the k8.2 the cp is 300 a pair cheaper and blows them away and they may even beat the k10. 2 not sure... I’m saying this to say the k.2s although more expensive may not be better than the cp it all depends on your needs and budget let’s say I’m a karaoke guy only... I’m gonna save a shit loads of money get the cp 12s not the k12. 2 trust me you will be happy but a dj that plays harder more demanding music may think differently but it’s up to you... just giving my honest opinion of someone who owns cp and .2 12s
