If I upgrade my membership to PLUS for $14.99 a month, I get 70 more connects (Because 10 Connects I receive automatically every month for my BASIC plan). But if I want to buy 70 Connects, I pay only 15 cents a Connect that is $10.50 for 70 Connects. I failed to understand why should I upgrade my membership to PLUS paying $14.99 and receive only 70 more Connects .

Good question! There are some other benefits of the plus membership. One is that you can choose a custom URL to to direct clients to your Upwork profile and can make you look more professional. Upwork .com/YasminDesigns (for example)

There is high competition, so you are competing with a lot of people for the jobs. You need to make your profile/portfolio good enough to secure the job. Just keep improving and persisting.

Check your connects history to make sure. If you just did the test, it can take 24 hours to show in your account. If not, contact Upwork support and get them to look into it for you!

Yes, you will lose connects if you don't get the job. If you receive an interview request, then you don't lose any connects. This is why it is important to spend your connects wisely.
