Not pushing it is the best advice! Drive it at 100 you will have problems, drive 80-90 and you will be fine. In Canada where I am most highways are 90 to 100. I can cruise in the slow lane at 80 and have never had issues with traffic or mechanical failure. My Ural just died at 230000km (2008) looking forward to getting another. The new 2023 is an actual modern machine (and the oil leak issues have been fixed this year) This one will be my main vehicle as I am now in Southern Ontario and winder riding is fun.

6900km on our 2021 Gear Up 2wd. As I write this it is in for warranty repair on the rear main seal. Our weather here in North Central Washington St is about to turn the ground white with snow and the critters are fattening up and burrowing for Winter. I am extremely pleased with Ural Company as I think they must be the Gold Standard for honoring warranty work! As your video pans up from the sidecar shock I noticed that the fender bolt looked backed off a bit. LOL, maybe just my old eyes. We have been on a lot of washboarded roads this year and have found that Loctite is my friend. Just a note to say I am grateful to you and a few other Ural Owners on YT for the info you have provided. It has helped me here an there. Not to mention seeing your lovely country from the saddle point of view. Keep up the great work.

Yes well spotted , that fender bolt kept coming loose on our last few rides , the fender was making some rattling noises , and Ive now put some loctite on it. Hopefully it stays put now.

A great review! We're at approximately 20,000M, 32,000K's on ours. We've had some issues with leaking rear engine seals and EFI sensors during the 5 years we've owned. I did recently put on the 2-1 exhaust, but it leaks that same black stuff that yours does. They just don't seal that well. We don't go fast either. Sticking to the back roads and forest trails is the only way to travel anyway. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, I had a miserable experience with my original dealer and their "repair". Took them months and it started leaking almost immediately. Found a great dealer that fixed it immediately. They are just 800km away unfortunately. A good dealer makes all the difference. @@CreakyRider

I’ve got a 2021 Gear Up. I’ve done nearly 9000kms on it. I love it. I ride it at 100km/hr on the open road and it seems perfectly happy at that speed. Head winds do slow it up significantly though. I replaced the rear tyre with the spare at about 6000 kms. I’ve had no trouble at all with the outfit except the bloody EMS light stays on unless I do the three flicks of the ignition key when I turn the bike on. I don’t have an OBD unit so can’t figure out what the problem is. Do you know of an OBD unit that will plug into the bike? The Ural OEM one costs about $500 so I’d be interested if there’s a cheaper non OEM one on the market. Failing that I’ll get the dealer to fix it when I take it in for its 10,000km service. I’ve found too that the hand break is in need of virtually constant adjustment. Other than those minor gripes it’s a ton of fun on and off road. Thanks for sharing and feedback from you and/or your followers will be appreciated 👍😎

Yes I got a cheap OBD unit working with instructions from the guys who have done it before me on the Ural Australia forum. I got it working , all it does is tell me the fault codes if I have a fault , it's not really compatoable with the RPM etc , I havent needed it so it's sitting there just in case I need it. I need to get it out and do a video on it. The only engine check light problem I had was when the little rubber boot on the throttle cable slid down and caused one side to be out of sync. Keep and eye on those little rubber boots on the throttle cables , they slip down.
