I have searched COUNTLESS times for a decent explanation of the sidecar windshield pivot, and gave up. You all should _really_ retitle this to something like "Ural Sidecar Tonneau and Windshield Setup". The explanation of the windshield is by far the best part of this video.

Thanks for making this video. It may seem a given to some owners but having just acquired a new to me 2021 GU.... this was timely! Keep the great videos coming as I'm creating my wishlist. 😉

I didn’t know the sidecar windscreen could be folded back like that! Just think of all the battle scars that can be avoided when the scrub brush assaults the sidecar when off roading. I’m absolutely stealing that great Idea. Thanks, Dmitry!

UPDATE; Last week I took my Gear Up on a long road trip, and the wind resistance on the sidecar windshield was causing the hack to pull right at those speeds. It was getting quite fatiguing, and then I remembered this video & decided to try folding the sidecar’s windshield back into the bucket. Long story short, I folded it back under the tonneau cover like Dimitri demonstrated, and she was a different machine! Tracked straight as an arrow, with no pulling to the right anymore! 80% of my rides are at slower speeds around town & dirt roads, so it was never a factor, but after several hours at highway speeds, it got quite tiresome. From now on, that windscreen will be folded down on road trips, because the difference was instantly noticeable and infinitely easier on the arms/upper body.

I enjoyed this informative video, I have a 2020 CT with the sidecar screen. In Australia we have the sidecar on the left side. Thank you for sharing.

Cool 😍 😎. I want to add a Ural CT Sidecar to my 2003 Harley Davidson Road King Classic. Can it be done?
