Well its good for the contractor to.start immediately but if they say september i believe they have there reasons maybe manpower of workers working elsewhere and also maybe materials but if they use rain as excuse it doesnt hold because i see other contractors in abia state working when it rains but let's just let the contractors be soon september will come atleast the pple have been living like this for years 2months inbetween is not far.

Bro, Road construction by government should also be accompanied by genuine citizens involvement in their own environment. The way we Ndigbo are defacing our own land with shanties is disheartening and unacceptable. The re-positioning of Aba will be incomplete without clearing these makeshift structures that blight the land. At least there should be local government bylaws specifying how far buildings must be away from the road, acceptable designs for roadside shop/kiosks. Any structures created without planning permission ought to be removed by the LGA at the owners expense.

My good friend, there is nowhere like this in Afghanistan or even war torn Ukraine. Just look at the uncontrolled shanties everywhere. Landlord travel and see. Has Heatland Setraco sorted their mess at Obohia Road? What ere they doing during the previous dry season? Too bad their trade mark has been stamped on this road.
