That's alot of stuff to carry. Nice that you get all that in 1 small pack. Everyone's edc pack is different according to their environment, and needs. Nice edc

Nice video! I like few thing of yours, the oiler, the led usb stick with the power bank it's a really good idea, and the klein screwdriver look more heavy duty then the Stanley 4 in 1 plastic screwdriver everyone use in EDC. Thanks for the idea will be include to my kit for sure. Knipex cobra pliers could be a good ad on to your kit...

Great kit! Not sure if I saw any way to procure or purify water. Three days without it and were dunzo. Also might wanna throw in a space blanket for shelter.

Where can I get one ?
@josezavalapina73922 жыл бұрын
@@MrPnurzenski you can get one from Amazon as they sell a variety of those. The one I have is from Highland Tactical. Looks similar to the one in this video.

Thank you for sharing. Never heard of P-Tex, I'm more familiar with epoxy putty mix for repairs. This is the first time I see someone EDC an oil dispenser. What's the exact name or brand of that? Tried to find it online but couldn't. Frustrated, some ideas came. I put some lubricant in an eye-drop bottle, 5ml volume. Gonna try take it for a ride.

I saw the USB cube and the USB power bank, but I didn't see charging cables. I assume you have those somewhere else? (Liked the watch as well!)

Who makes the pouch that you are using? Is there a brand name on the waterproof container you are using for to hold bandaids and the compressed towels?

I'm a medic, No that velcro strap will not work as a tourniquet. You can not gain the leverage to make it tight enough and if you put a windlass in to cinch it down, it would not remain secure. There are plenty of cost effective tourniquets on the market, buy a real one and get proper training. As someone who has used them more times than I can count, don't rely on makeshift. Would you want someone using a "makeshift" medical device on you? No you wouldn't. So don't carry something like that. This isn't Hollywood.

If you are the type of guy who carries an EDC pouch... you may not need foo foo smelling cologne.

Yes sir and I got no shame

All I would say is if you think you will need a tourniquet (TQ) then buy a real, purpose built one from a reputable source - beware of cheap fakes on Amazon. As soon as you say you are going to improvise one from a piece of what looked like Velcro strapping you lose all credibility. It just sounds like you’re putting in a load of stuff because it looks/sounds cool. Plus it sounds odd that you talk of TQs but yet you only have some bandaids and nothing in between. With regards to the Velcro thing it may not be strong enough to withstand the pressure of an improvised windlass, secondly it doesn’t look wide enough to be effective and in addition to not stopping the bleed it may well cause tissue damage. Before anyone starts on about “if was a real emergency you would do/ use whatever it takes” then yes I would agree to a certain degree. However, studies done of improvised TQs have shown their limited effectiveness and the vast majority fail. The only really effective and reliable method is to use a proper TQ (eg SOFT or CAT). If you must improvise one a medical cravat or triangular bandage is potentially more effective. It can be used as a sling, bandage, dressing, wound packing, splinting, and a host of other things (just search on here “how to use a medical cravat”) as well as a TQ. It’s also important to get some training in how to use them.

Thank you for the info. I carry a separate Med Kit strapped to the exterior of my backpack . That kit has a legit Tourniquet and all my other medical supplies. The stuff in my EDC pouch is just for scratches and bumps. I do have medical training and I understand the Velcro strapping is not ideal but in a triage situation it will work. Thanks again

Thanks for the input. This is an Urban EDC bag . It’s used in a office or commuting environment only . I understand that some of this stuff may seems useless to you but you have no clue what environment I live and work in so it may not make since to you. “To each his own”. I will have you know that the microgram the colon weighs has paid off in many compliment over the years even after a hard day work. Try it you’ll be surprised .

@@rockstarbradleyb007 Like how you replied respectfully even though the comment was on the rude side. I noticed a few queries about the LED light and I tried to find that one on Amazon unsuccessfully - if you could, please let us know the make of that light. One of the better EDC videos IMO
