I went to school here🙃 back in 2005 or 2006 they actually found a decaying body in that lake and that entrance had to be shut down for a week while they tried to figure out where it came from. There were roomers that when they abandoned the place they may have thrown some patients into the lake or that someone escaped from the nearby jail and died there. Just speculation. But made for good gossip when we were in middle school😅

There were no patients from Travis State School thrown into the Colorado River. Those patients were simply transferred to Austin State School, group homes, ICFs, or apartments of some sorts.

The school grew and needed more space so the middle school and high school I went to moved location. at time of filming the middle school was still at that location. I didn't see the high school in the video, But I was most likely there that day.

You identify some of the buildings wrong. What you identified as the hospital was actually Dorm 24. What you identified as the warehouse was the mech. Shop
