You can feed your paracord into a soft bag like a throw rope bag. Then you pull out what you need and it won't tangle and you can throw the bag while holding one end to loop it over a branch etc

I keep 2 of the thick survival blankets in my bag. I'll use one to lay on while I sleep in my tact bivvy and depending on the weather I'll use the other one for a shelter or heat deflection for my fire.

The bag itself doesn't scream tactical or supplies. It's all the supplies you have on show on the outside of the bag that does that. Water and zip ties are fine, put everything else away, especially the torch/flashlight that could easily fall out if you suddenly found yourself tactically opposed to gravity by transposing yourself into an inverted predicament.

Great update... Only thing is I think something needs to be said about organization of your stuff, especially the small items. Rummaging for them especially in the dark or when you need them the most will be too time consuming

Can you link what kind of fire starter kit in a pouch you got...I can't find anything like that on Amazon. Also can you link what kind of food ration/bars your got? And I noticed you might have a sticker on the bottom of your stainless steel water bottle. Consider removing it if you plan on using the bottle on your butane stove (Goo Gone works good if you have any sticker residue left). Thanks for showing your bag. I want to make one but haven't even started. I think this will be an expensive project that I will have to slowly build over time. :(

The fire pouch I made, by combining waterproof matches, trioxane fire starter bars, a flint, lighter, etc. all purchased separately. The pouch is some old pouch I had used to hard external hard drives...just search for hard shell external hard drive cases. Hope this helps.

I don't think so I've seen some bags in urban areas like bay area transit everyone has back packs some are huge to small with laptop in it and they are big, so I don't think it matters what your backpack looks like people will know you have something in it. You have to have something to keep them away?

nice vid man you have some really useful stuff there....I know someone already said this and I'm no expert but for future vids try keeping everything in frame. Makes for a really difficult watch other wise. Also I want to weigh in on this "less tactical look" or gray man theory. In a self preservation or SHTF situation because one was not prepared and needs to get supplies, I don't think it will matter much if your bag has pals webbing or barbie on it. IMO pals webbing is a functional addition to any type of bag as it allows the addition of extra pouches freeing up much needed internal space in your pack. Besides, you think people are robbing the military looking individual or the hipster with his book bag....I'm gonna say the latter is an easier target for would be thieves.

Raise the camera or lower your hand so we can see the items when you show them. You have them half way in frame when you bring each item out of the bag. Good video though.

never ever hang a shiny object on the side of your equipment. It gives away your position it rinkels and makes a lot of noise. you might wanna paint your water bottel or cover it in mud in case of shtf

Nothing screams 'tactical' like Shit hanging all over your pack! A knife where anybody can grab it?! Scissors where anybody but you can get them? The only thing outside on my pack is a water bottle. Knife on my belt, pepper spray in my pocket, gun in a holster.
