Mr. Roddy, this man has broken down more barriers than any JCB. One of the worlds greatest ever DJ's -- EVER!

Used to listen to him every Sunday afternoon, David is a legend.

The man met them all, the legends in the reggae fraternity. I grew up listening to this guy in the early 80s, his Saturday night shows on Capital Radio. Man, I still have untold tapes, including the famous 1985 clash with Jamaican DJ Barry G, when they flung Sleng Teng after Sleng Teng at each other! Give the man a knighthood!

First and very importantly , I do know what this man means to the Reggae music industry. At first I thought I was looking at Ernie Combs. Aka. Mr. DRESS-UP. Thus guy is a legend. Props.

whats up with the audio?
@56postoffice12 жыл бұрын
No, I don't think he has. I would have known. He does have an MBE, I know about that one. Still an absolute legend in the business. One question: I wonder why him and the other great reggae DJ, Tony Williams, never clashed? Hmm.......
@domh12 жыл бұрын
@NYCozza He hasn't actually been knighted, just like Lady Gaga isn't really a Lady. He has been given an MBE, though.
