This song is divided into three sections as laid out below. There are slight breaks at the beginning of each section unfortunately, as I chose to edit the separate track files into one video. Hope all of you Proglodytes like it, it was the first song we wrote as a band and may be our most adventurous effort. Living In Exile: i. A Young Winter - 0:00 ii. The Place of Dead Roads - 6:12 iii. The Eye of Dawn - 10:07

impressive as always, but why is it fused into one video?
@RockBarnRecords10 жыл бұрын
CYЯEO Thank you sir or madam! We considered the 15 minute track to be rather long so we chose to divide it into "movements" which would reflect the different phases of the song. Prog pretension pretty much!

And i'm back here 9 years later. Still one of the greatest prog pieces ever written! The transition from dark to happy at 08:30 hits you like 100 feet wave.

I know these gentlemen personally, and they are some of the humblest people I know. I reiterate as often as possible to them, just how amazing this work is. Those of you here who recognize how brilliant this music is, please continue to praise the group. I LOVE THIS RECORD! BRILLIANT! PERFECT! Thank you!

About a week ago I typed in fusion jazz to find something new to listen to while I study, and I haven't stopped listening to the three songs you have posted. This is some of the best music I've heard in a while, period, and I listen to all kinds of music. I will be buying these songs and I hope you have more on the way. Just keep up the good work; my ears thank you!

I can't believe I just stumbled onto this music today!! It is utterly amazing and takes me back to my childhood in Detroit in the 70s. There are no words to describe how life-altering these sounds are for me. I am in awe of the genius behind the music. Thank you so much!

This has grown to become my favorite song of all time. It's monstrously triumphant and probably the closest thing to a work of art you can get out of the prog genre (I jest). Anytime I need a pick-me-up I throw this on and 15 minutes later I'm ready to get back at it again. I hope one day we'll get some more Urban Nomad, but if not, this song alone could last me a lifetime. Well done.

Yeah, I just want to echo how fantastic this piece is. One of my favorite Prog pieces of any artist ever. I was trying to expose one of my friends to Prog music and we went through everything, all of the big names - Yes, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Gentle Giant, Van Der Graaf Generator, Caravan, Spock's Beard, etc. At the end of it, the only song he ended up really liking was this one!
