Urban Peregrines by Ed Drewitt

Ed Drewitt, naturalist and author of Urban Peregrines, has been studying Peregrine Falcons since 1998 when he moved to Bristol. He realised there was a lot to be learnt from Peregrines living in cities and began studying their diet and ringing them to find out more about their lives. This talk explores what makes an urban Peregrine tick and how they are using our towns and cities so successfully.

I live in E1 London, close by is christ Church, I'm lucky to be able to watch the two peregrine falcons who live mostly on the church and area (Square Mile), I'm sure they are male and female, the female uses an ambush technique often from the church spire ledge, mostly pidgins, or black birds (not sure about the latter) occasionally she will fly extremely high in the sky, which is absolutely breathtaking to watch.
