Thanks for the great video! A Brompton doesn’t need a kick stand, because you just fold the rear triangle under the bicycle and it stands on its own. I always take my 22 year old Brompton with me when I travel. It makes getting around so cheap and easy, and it allows me to extend my ‘photography range’ immensely! You pictures are beautiful. Thanks.

You don’t need a kick stand on a Brompton just fold the rear triangle underneath the frame with a quick flick, the locking lever can also be auto release. You also change the suspension bung. I recommend the 44 tooth chain ring. Have a front mount for a large or small bag. Get the rear carrier option , you don’t kick the easy wheels with the carrier so much. Cheaper to choose these option on you order with the configuration options. Best go to a dealer and borrow a demo Brompton. I use mine on gravel tracks and city riding. Two friends a while ago rode all the way from Paris to Gibraltar camping on the way. Most trams and busses along with trains allow Brampton’s. Better still get an electric Brommy. the front bag, it fits on the mount bracket. The rear triangle folds under the bike and that’s it wheels are are for dragging it along.your

Yes as already pointed out. Folding the back wheel under is the stand. Brompton are by far the best folding bike, even if they are outrageously expensive. The stand fold is even better if it's fitted with the rear rack. You can also get over priced front luggage, that's great for camera kit.
@e6Vlogs2 жыл бұрын
A great city bike, but not as good as my 20” on gravel.

Yes, quite agree - just fold the back wheel under with one smooth, swift action and try to look cool at the same time (it doesn't aways work).

Very nice shots…..& great coffee choice! I have a Brompton with a rear rack and when you want to stand the bike up, you just “kick” the rear wheel underneath, which makes it double as a stand - Easy Peezy:- )

Ah, that makes sense👍

Yeah, I went with a 20" folding bike, as stability was more important to me than absolute minimum weight/size. (A lot of sub-optimal pavement in my area.)

I have been wondering about a bike, though I was thinking more of (Australian) rural areas. Space in Tin Can is a concern. A folder like this could be the winner grinner. When I visit a new town, I like to walk around, sometimes all over the place. A bike would give me more coverage. Perhaps a camera mount or two, for the different viewpoint.

Very well composed video ..as always. Some great shots…Been a folding bike convert for about 14years, totally agree on wheel size. However have you tried an electric bike, full size or maybe folding..?I live in rural area with few hills..but a full size electric bike is liberating, Had an early model for about 12years…makes it like living in Holland!

Yes, I’ve had my folding bike about 15 years too. As for an electric bike, I’ll perhaps give one a try in another five years!
