Classic! But I'm a little confused. There are 2 different version of Analogue aren't there? The other one has a percussive (Maracas) intro with breakbeats. I can't find it though. :( I've checked all releases on Discogs. If I recall correctly the other version was released on a promo/white label? This is going to drive me insane now.

I just figured it out. I initially had the so called unreleased version on a CD compilation I bought through CDUCTIVE. As it wasn't the version I was hoping for I ended up buying a used copy of CGK 1. But still, not sure how the unreleased version got out there and why it's not available on vinyl. :)

There was a few versions if I remember, and mixed down on two separate days. The first 500 to 1000 copies of the EP we weren't happy with so we got it re-cut and re-released, both with the same artwork. I remember doing the CDUCTIVE deal. This version I recorded from the DAT that was on the shelf. That version you have from the CD must have been from the first cut or one of the other versions recorded when we mixed it down. Claudio was the man on the acid controls so each version came out different. Such is the nature of Analogue..

Wow! That is just so awesome, to get the background info on this tune. A rare glimpse into what went on behind the scenes so to speak. :D I just checked Discogs and it appears that there were 3 separate vinyl releases. I might have to hunt down a copy of the first release. :) I love this version of Analogue though. It really sparkles. Fantastic production. Thanks for Analogue, Bass Speaker, Scuba Diver, Some Justice and Bass Shake! Top tunes!!! :D
