Many of the taps without a handle, have a recessed square of multi-faced spindle, so the pliers and vice grips will not fit into the recessed space.

Quick note on water in urban areas: most water features like ponds, fountains often have chemicals to keep site pretty but are not drinkable. Those chems cannot be filtered shy of a Big Berkey.

Another great video, I love the grayl water filters as well, I have the one like you have there which is the ultralight, which they don't make any more... they now make the ultrapress instead which is the same size but has a drinking lid and folding grab handle. I also have the larger geopress with the pathfinder nesting cup, but my favorite one that I have is the titanium ultrapress, because it has the same functionality of the geopress and cup system , where you can boil water also, but it's much lighter and more compact to fit in my bugout bag... it's much pricier than the others, but I think it was a great investment that I'm glad I pulled the trigger on.

Nice well thought out gear! I would add two small and affordable items. You could pocket carry or carry in your bags. 1.) the small flathead pocket screw drivers that mechanics use. 2.) an old fashion rubber door stop. Can hold doors open, be used as a wedge but mainly for helping to keep doors closed should the lock fail. Lightweight and cheap. Thanks!

Good kit, but I would add a small pry bar to broach doorways, etc.

Loving the fan 😆, yeah I think in a urban environment you gotta have a different set of tools to survive, I would add some kind of pry bar and a saw with a bi-metal blade or a cut all blade, keep up the great work 👍🤙🤙🤙

Good kit for urban planning. I would add OC spray for security. Save the ammo for when there is no doubt it is needed. Plus it has a lot less noise when used. No need in drawing any additional attention towards you in a bad situation.

Nice video Jason! I really frown on the “Altoids Tin” kits because it’s mostly cheap garbage. Although, you practice what u preach and I’m sure most of the gear in the kit has been featured on past videos. Love the channel & content!!! 👍👍😁🇺🇸

As a commercial service plumber I can assure you that the vice grips are absolute shit when it comes to opening a wall hydrant. The key is cheap and light enough that you don’t have a reason to not have one. If anyone is trying to cut weight or save space by excluding something so small and important they should consider staying in their moms basement and waiting for her to finish the Dino nuggies she’s making for them. 😂

Excellent content sir. I disagree about longs but, i have a lockbox and a unique alarm system. I dont go near Atlanta without one. Smoke grenades are good as well for covering movements, signaling, etc. Keep'em coming!

Yes. Go to PNW Bushcraft and select the Cinch Pack. I think it’s on the last page. www.pnwbushcraft.com/collections/frontpage/products/drawstring-cinch-pack-by-pnwbushcraft

If you saw a man walking down the road with that pack on, they are going to get a second look. Yes I know it was a joke.
