Pam really is the perfect housemate, quiet, tidy, and won't get in your way. Like she literally can't be in the way. Perks of being a ghost, I guess?

I'm impressed. The listener here had a brilliant poker face in the first half. 👌 I really liked this character. Thanks for the audio, Nymph! 👻

For some reason I imagine us as some sort of blue-collar worker who sees this run-down house as a fun renovation challenge. They've got mixed experience in Carpentry, Plumbing, Roofing, ect...

This is a really fun twist on the ghost girl character trope. The ones I usually see are either overly friendly or incredibly tsundere, and she's a bit more complex than that. It's nice to see she actually cares about the house, and it makes sense if you're basically tied to the place. The history lesson is rather helpful. I'd trust her over a lot of people who'd be desperate to make a sale. It's good to know what you're getting into with a house. Sometimes stuff needs repair, sometimes it needs outright replacing cause it's from who knows how many decades ago, sometimes you make a new friend. A ghost friend who could probably do a pretty good comedy show, all things considered. Really witty, but she might take getting booed differently than most. Also, the jokes might be spoiled too early, she's probably pretty transparent up there. I do love her optimism when she talks about potentially bouncing on the bed and all the other stuff she wants to do. Girl's got spirit. It sounds like they're forming a bond already. Neat little explanation of how the ghost stuff works here, can lead to some interesting interactions. It's nice she can at least read books, she'd be bored to death otherwise. Quite an interesting decision here that we're outright buying the house. Given that and the high price, we probably really wanted it right now for something. Or perhaps our potential ghost roommate isn't exactly up-to-date on the housing market. Can't imagine she gets any newspapers there. Masterful move by us, casually handing the pen over to reveal what we know. We got to hear what she really thinks of the place, what she thinks we're like, and what she's like. She thinks we can't hear her, so she's got no reason to lie, so she's honest. We got a knowledgeable tour, and some ghost lore. She thought we were zen, chill, or hard to read at times, but we ain't afraid of no ghost. And it's interesting that we're the first that can hear her. I wonder if we knew she was there at the house before we went and bought it, seeing as we're tune with ghosts and paid maybe more than the place was worth. Even if it's the "good ending" or right thing to do to try to help her find and complete her unfinished business, it'd be sad to see her go, and we only just met. If she wants a TV, who knows what would happen if she gets internet access.

Ya know Pam, if having a ghost roommate isn’t trendy then we need to set that trend. She’s not a bad presence to have. And there’s a lot we can do to alleviate her decades of boredom. So many movies she missed out on, videogames she hasn’t had the chance to experience (if she can interact with a controller) and music she’s probably never heard of. Plenty of fun to be had.

Love this audio, could easily become a whole series unto itself around day-to-day life and gradually unveiling the mystery of what unfinished business is keeping Pamela from moving on.

Well, im glad ghosts canonically still have their ghost clothes on after they die or this would get awkward fast. Great audio as usual.

As long as your music doesn't get too loud, I shouldn't have a problem. Yeah, I'll probably do things that annoy you, but nothing on that list. Your 'concentrate' noise was adorable. Also, I like that you had to /concentrate/ your mind to /concentrate/ your substance. ;)

I never understood why ghosts were supposed to be scary, I mean fundamentally they're just humans.... I mean yes, body less ethereal humans, but as long as the principles of civility are adhered to, I don't really see the problem with living in a haunted house.
@murf34895 ай бұрын
Yeah but if they’re dead for a long time and haven’t seen anyone in years they could go crazy and might end up dangerous which is what a poltergeist is
@alexanderyakubik22895 ай бұрын
With respect, a poltergeist is the manifestation of strong and prolonged emotions in a given area, usually tricky or malevolent in nature. A ghost in that state would simply stay as a ghost, though usually they are locked in the state of mind they had when they died if not interacted with by the outside world.

I don't tend to go back and add later parts to earlier audios, but if it goes over 3 eps, I'll just make a playlist.
