Urban Promise Academy, a middle school in Oakland, CA, is a part of a 12 team, 180 player soccer league. Matthew Linzer, the director of the soccer program at UPA, contacted GetGear.org for equipment assistance. Budgets are tight and the teams need help. We donated over 100 balls, more than 60 pairs of cleats, many shin guards and a variety of other items. Watch this video of Matthew describing the program and its needs.
