Like the “Tie” corset” cute idea. My problem with “Tie” project is trying to find enough ties to color coordinate them through thrifting. You’re tiny easy fit. Still inspired. Keep up the good work.😊

@ hey. There is a store in Evanston that sells the ties in bulk. I guess they get so many it’s the easiest way to push them out

Jen for the boning couldn’t you just do another line of stitching 1/4-1/2” away from the first to create a channel to thread the boning through?

Yes I did that for the metal boning. Lots of different ways. You should insert it how you feel most comfortable.

Hey Jen, I think I might have better luck with this bustier than the vest a few weeks ago. You mentioned how many ties you used, and I don't have enough in one color to complete this. I already have tons of tirs, my hubs is looking at me side ways. Nevertheless, I believe I have a solution, especially after seeing you did the zipper in the side, not the back. I think I will try to do a two-toned tie. One color in the front and a different color on the back. Would it be crazy to see it could be done that either color could be worn in the front? I don't have the technical know-how to tell if that is a possible design. Of course, our backs don't have breasts. 😂😂😂 but your feedback would be appreciated.

I love the idea of two toned. Being able to turn it from front to back and have a different look is very unique. It’s very doable
