You guys are so respectful of the energy in this space, thank you for sharing it with us. It feels like someone’s Nana and Papa lived here after the kids grew up, and then maybe just one of them after a while. Sort of getting the feeling that their grown children aren’t around anymore either, I can’t imagine just leaving the house to decay like this.

You might want to start wearing a paint mask or some sort of air filtration mask when going through these abandoned houses due to all of the black mold and not to mention that insulation could contain asbestos which can cause cancer later in life especially when inhaled. Just an FYI.

Wow, great explore! Reason why the brown fridge wasn't used was because it's not frost free. My grandmother had an old freezer from the 1970s that she used for storage and mainly because she didn't feel like chiseling ice out of it. I loved seeing those old TVs, that old lawn mower, old cars, old food, shaving stuff and the old glasses/cups! That can of English Leather Shave Cream has got to be rare. The old black and white baby pictures would probably be of the little girl who grew up's mother or father. Can't wait to see the other house! Hard to believe that they had two. Must have been loaded at one time.

Good stuff guys, I remember Pathmark and A+P supermarkets, Ames, and been to wrestling matches @ the Old Philly Spectrum, found a few ticket stubs from 1980, in a storage bin, like opening a time capsule, yes, I’m kinda old, haha, almost 60 but I certainly don’t act like I’m 60, and, saw that old bottle of Genny Cream Ale, of which I still drink today, have 1 can of it chilling in my fridge! It’s very odd seeing all of these abandoned houses, with everything still left behind, you would think the Grandkids would have sold it, after the Grandparents passed away, who can understand why? Fun fact about food packaging for you all, if something doesn’t have a barcode, it is Pre-1982, and if it doesn’t have an expiration date it’s probably pre 1970. But often times it’s referred to as “Sell Buy” as well. Also I kinda wonder if the original owner passed away in 1998 and someone was squatting there in the early 2000s because for being abandoned since 2004, it’s in really good shape. (I’m saying 2004 because food usually has a 2 year expiration date, the newest you found was 2006 so it would be around 2004 it went abandoned)
