@@UrduAcademyJakarta that will be so great. Well I’m French but I was looking for an English - Urdu dictionary like the « basic » ones. 🤷🏻♀️ sometimes I found some translators on the internet but it’s a little bit hard to know how to use the word in a sentence or some words have sooo many different way to say it, kind of lost.

Me have fever. Mujhe fever hai Me know, mujhe pata hai. I think sometimes we need to scramble the english grammar to understand the Urdu sentence construction. I speak with my pakistani friends here in dubai. Other examples 1 day in Dubai: I am Ananias and I come from Philippines. After 1 year Me Ananias Philippines coming.😅

@PaulW2722 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the video. You explain the difference very well. The only remaining confusion for an English Speaker is that if Mujhe = I have/me, then why don't you use Mujhe if, for example, you translate "I have a dog" into Urdu?
@zainmeer3415 Жыл бұрын
same question
@zainmeer3415 Жыл бұрын
also that’s cool you’re learning urdu paul
@zainmeer3415 Жыл бұрын
The difference in the sentence structure is because of the difference in the nature of the nouns "fever" and "dog" and their grammatical function in the sentence. In Hindi, "fever" is considered as an illness, so it is treated as the subject of the sentence and the verb "hai" (is) is used to indicate the existence of the illness. On the other hand, "dog" is considered as a possession, so it is treated as an object of the sentence and the verb "hai" (is) is used with the possessive pronoun "mere paas" (with me) to indicate the existence of the possession.
