Excellent take. Tribute to her scholarly presentation of a complicated topic like development of Pak Nuclear programme, the strategy for its use and above all its Security measures making its nuclear assets one of the safest amongst the Nuclear Weapon States especialy its Command and Control System ensured through Natiinal Command Authority (NCA) which is run by the highly professional and dedicated team at the top. Pak Nuke programme of course serves as credible deterrence against any foreign aggression especially in context of Pak India relationship. Pakistan despite her economic difficulties, is a vibrant country which has very talented team of scientists and other experts and as such Pakistan,as rightly observed in this analytical survey, has a bright future In Sha Alkah .

Just in your opening narrative, you said we opted alignment with USA because Pakistan "had" to take sides and the options were USA, USSR and China. I strongly disagree. The fact is we opted with USA because of "personal" interests of Liaqat Ali Khan. Who was the incumbent architect of our doom by firmly seeding the invasive seeds of corrupt bureaucracy. It was money and holding to power that motivated our inclination to USA. Pakistan was perfect during her nonaligned phase. This discussion was the first nail in her coffin. ❤ Baqi paisa bolta hae, in the exact accent that you have!
