umm no..the theme was based on JG Ballard's short story " The garden of time", Jennie, wasn't even on theme, even if she wanted to represent the sea, her dress looked very cheap, and the sea shell belt just looked like something you could get from shein, after all, the MET GALA isn't about looking good, it's about making a fashion statement.Compared to Mona Patel, Emma Chamberlain, Tyla, Jennie's was horrendous. Alia's was one of the best though.

Alia's saree was not meant to be unique. She should have been on theme, and she was ON POINT with her beautiful saree and looked like a princess. She actually represented the floral handwork of indian craftmen and women and brought up the style of floral sarees in front of the entire world. So her comparison with deepika is basically to spread hate against her when she is being praised for her saree by every international fashion reviewer.
