I am married, but i have been waiting on God for His promise fulfilled for a baby. This is so applicable, this fall i went to a womens conference focused on women waiting on God for children, and the word surrender was heavy on my heart, to surrender my womb to Him knowing that life and death are in his contro and children are from Him. It felt so freeing, to put it on Him but the struggle to strive and do is so strong. Thank you for this reminder to surrender and not strive.

I agree with this the focus becomes the promise instead of on God. I started to think the soulmate is the Holy Spirit and the true kingdom spouse is Jesus because it says your desire will be for your husband and God is our true husband. He is the kingdom so seek first the kingdom and all else shall be added. I am being prepared as a bride for HIM, not for him... Hope that makes sense and helps as the enemy wants us to focus on man not God and on the promise not the PROMISER. I LOVE YOU FATHER GOD. Help us focus on you, LORD.
