OMG...listen up what she said if you're planning to go there!😅 I've been in China and if wouldn't have been for my wife (which is Chinese) it would have been totally a mess😅.. The phone is a must!! Google maps is a must!! Translator is a must!! Don't think not even for a sec that with your english is gonna be fine😅.. Your english is fine when it's time to use the translator...USE ENGLISH TO CHINESE, because generally with english you've the best chance to make them understand the translation, trust me, I'm italian and every time I've tried to use my language italian to chinese or chinese to italian the translation was a mess even for a short sentence😅 And if you willing to learn some Chinese be sure to learn it good, your pronunce must be excellent 😅.. Another tip....in Beijin an hotel rejected me because to get a room you've to show a Chinese ID, so we had to find another hotel. Another big tip, if you find yourself in the south east China nearby Hong Kong and you want to visit it and then come back in China you need a double entry visa stamp for China!!! Anyway...no matter if sometimes could be a little hard for us China is wonderful❤, it will surprise you.
