I’m very happy Greg did such a great job on your slide. When he did my slide a week earlier, the Lippert controller turned out to be bad, and Greg was able to get that covered through my aftermarket warranty policy. If anyone needs a RV Repair anywhere near Columbus Ohio, call Greg!!!

We are glad you found a Mobile RV Tech that could fix it! So we had the parts, cost $382, and the mobile tech we found in St. Augustine charged us $875 for labor and did take about 7 hours. It was in December 2021- wow prices have increased.
@campinwiththeconfers5 ай бұрын
Wow! Did you have to replace the entire mechanism? Was it as big as ours? It’s crazy prices would go up that much in two years. Safe travels to you guys! - Mike and Shelley

@@campinwiththeconfers We had to replace the bearing block, rollers with bearing, shoes, screws and foam pads. And yes, prices on everything are up!!

Thank you! It was a close one! Makes you rethink having a rig with slides when they break.

Sorry to hear you had slide issues. We bought the same model 2022. We had to have the wall with the slide repaired. Took it out on our first camping trip and the slide broke. Luckily Grand Design came and got the camper and changed the slide only to find out they did it wrong and had to change it again. The service lady than said they revise or beefed the slide up. Hopefully we won’t have issues. Love your videos!

Glad they fixed it for you. That's even better that they came to you! Ours held up for 4 1/2 years before the break so hopefully its fixed for good! Thanks so much for sharing, we really appreciated hearing from folks! Safe traveles to you! - Mike and Shelley

One of the reasons we wanted this little one that has no slides. Wow sucks that they had to replace the entire slide system not just the motors. Glad u got it fixed.

We have considered something with no slides but as you know - it gives you so much room! If we could have two rigs - I think that would be the way to go. Thanks for your support as always! - Mike and Shelley

Thanks, my wife always ask me to hold up the bed when she needs to get underneath, even though I have a 2x2 that I cut so when she lifts the bed, she can wedge it between the front corner floor and the top plywood at an angle to hold it up. I wanted to change out the struts but did know how strong they needed to be. Too strong and the bed never goes down, but you want them strong enough to hold up the bed. We got a residential mattress and the hold up the bed with just the mattress. When you put on the bedding, comforter and foot blanket, they are not strong enough to hold it up. Great video! Thanks for sharing, I will look at 135lbs on-line. I will use your link to buy.
