URI: THE SURGICAL STRIKE, it's not a movie, or just a fable; URI is an amalgamation of pride, sacrifice,joy and victory. It's a celebration of the lives of 19 soldiers who were killed in a cowardly attack by terrorists in their sleep, befor the sun could even shine upon them for one more time. You guys already know that never ever have India been the one to instigate a war or an attack. We despise any and all kinds of terrorism in the world and avoid violence at all costs. BUT, not at the cost of 19 bravehearts, not at the cost of 19 lives lost during the dastardly attack on sleeping, unarmed soldiers in Uri base. In this movie, there is a dialogue which goes like this "This is the new age India, which will not only infiltrate the enemy's land, but uproot it as well." The whole retaliation by the Indian Army, this whole Surgical Strike was not against a country, this was a strike of fear, in the hearts and mind of those who thought no matter how much they try to harm us, India will never retaliate. We indeed are the New India, and our soldiers guarding the borders of our motherland are capable enough to defend our pride, and when the time comes will squash the vicious head of the snake that we know as TERRORISM.

Recommendations: Movies: Border, Lagaan, Newton, 3 Idiots, Shahid, A Wednesday, Special 26, Toilet- ek Prem Katha, Padman, Dangal, The legend of Bhagat Singh Food: Chicken Curry with Potato. Eat it with rice Recipe: Ingredients: Half kilo chicken without skin with bone, 3-4 potatoes, 2 Tomatoes, 5 onions, Ginger and garlic paste 2 table spoon, salt as per taste, 1 .5 cups Yogurt, 1 table spoon turmeric powder, 1 table spoon paprika, dry spices (2 black cardamoms, 5 green cardamons, 15-20 pepper corns, 20-30 Cummin seeds, 20-30 Coriander seeds, 2 bay leaves), Coriander leaves for garnish, 3 table spoon of mustard oil , 2 green chilies Steps: 1. Marinate chicken with all the curd, 1/2 turmeric, 1/2 paprika, 1/2 salt and 1 table spoon mustard oil. Keep in fridge for min. 45 minutes. More the merrier 2. In a small size mixer/grinder put 2 onions cut is half, ginger and garlic paste, all dry spices except bay leaves. Blend till they form a blackish paste. 3. Cut potatoes with skin into big cubes and deep fry them for 4-5 minutes till they turn brown. They need not be cooked through 4. Heat a pan in medium flame and put rest of the oil to be hot. Once hot put the bay leaves, 2 chilles sliced or chopped as you like and rest of 3 onions finely chopped. Cook till onions turn translucent. 5. Add spices paste and cook till it releases oil and the raw smell is gone 6. Add chopped tomatoes and cook them for 5-7 minutes. Add rest of salt, turmeric and paprika and mix well 7. Add marinated chicken now and cook in high flame for 10-12 minutes. Lower the flame, add one cup of water and cover it for 18-20 minutes. 8. Add fried potatoes and cover again for 8-10 minutes till both chicken and potatoes are cooked through. Add more water if needed for more gravy. Garnish with chopped coriander.
