Anyone know what steff Fontaine is doing now?

I knew him for a bit (mid 2000's). He was rehearsing with a Rainbow cover band at the time. According to the Internet it looks like he still lives in Orange County, California and plays with bar bands here and there. He's a truly colossal talent. It's a shame that so little came of it.
