I love you for sharing this with us. You're a lifesaver. I bought some urine test strips to see if my mom has another UTI. She was atmitted to hospital ICU with sepsis and heart infarct. Unfortunately after returning home the GP didn't want to run another test for possible reocurring infection. My dad and I are very worried as she is often showing signs of yet another delirium. She's a diabetic as well. Now I understand how to read the strips. I wish there were doctors like you here in the Netherlands. You really seem passionate about your work. We actually have a shortage on GP's for years now and the problems became even worse during Corona crisis. Especially in the rural area we live in. Bless you, thanks again.

This video was great! I am just starting as an ED nurse in Australia, after a couple years rehab nursing in the US. I wanted videos from Australia that explained things on a clinical level without going into too much detail (which translates to too long). This ticked all the boxes. Thanks! Subscribed.

They just upload your results and dont even care to ask you back or at least have a nurse call you back to go over what it means. Our healthcare system fails every time. I'd like to know even if I'm in the normal range or barely made the range what things I can incorporate in my diet, or be told, hey, you need start incorporating potassium in your diet and watch your sodium etc. Why isnt this done in healthcare , its beyond me. It takes 5-10 seconds to do this.

I saw my New Primary Care Physician yesterday in Pennsylvania for a physical. Toward the end of it I asked if he wanted a Urine sample for a Urinalysis. He said no, that it has been medically proven that Urine Tests have no medical benefit. I was shocked. My other Drs in New Jersey almost always took a Urine sample during routine check ups.
