The Blues planned third sweater from 1997 never made it past the prototype stage of development. Someone did extensive research on the subject and came up with the conclusion that Mike Keenan never saw the sweaters in the first place because they didn’t exist and by the time they were supposed to make their debut, Keenan was out as the Blues’ coach and GM.

as nice as the idea sounds, there’s legitimate reasons why 30 grass fields is legitimately impossible. The Vegas/arizona slidey field that people tout as a magic bullet on the matter is only practical for the desert duo because they have a large amount of space, space the rest of the league’s stadiums often don’t have. Add that to the cultural revolt against the building of new stadiums and the only way we’re getting rid of turf is either mass relocation or serious contraction.

And they went up against the Pats that year who wore all white throwback uniforms, which I thought were absolutely HORRENDOUS as well. (They may have been all the rage back in the 80s, but they did not belong in the 2009 season. Now their Red Top/ White Pants combo was pretty decent). Also, don't go hatin' on the Flying Elvis uniforms! They were cool as hell!

The aftermath of the Freddie Gray incident in 2015 has been said to condemn Baltimore to fail every time it takes the nation's center stage. The O's and Ravens are a combined 2-9 in the playoffs since the incident.

From ‘84 until ‘02 the Seahawks had the coolest uniform in all of sport. In 2002 they decided to go the opposite direction with the Tron look. Then someone told them those were the ugliest ever. Seahawks said, “hold my beer,” and came up with the color rush neon. Worst. Jersey. Ever.
