Intermittent faults where a fault light comes up on the dashboard are usually the ones where the issue needs to be present for them to diagnose the problem. The only gear stick issue I've heard of is if something is caught under the clutch pedal (a stone or even the car mat!) so it might not be pressed all the way down, even though it feels like it is.

with the stiff gears, my car does that too😭sometimes with mine if you lift the clutch up (about an inch or so) and put it back down, it ends up sliding into the gear - it might work for you. its so jarring when it happens at the most inconvenient & stressful times tho

Also, try pumping the clutch (pushing it down and lifting it up) a few times when it happens, this used to happen a lot in my old car and it only got worse. My mechanic also told me that the gear fluid was leaking. So defo talk to a different mechanic because it’s mad dangerous.

Congratulations my Nataniaaaaaaaaa!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I just spent half of xmas nagging my nephew about you and your study method video (you and Ali Abdal: active recall baybeee). Onwards and upwards. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Milk etc. You n your mum probably both a bit right. I don't really think 'supposed' comes into it though beyond what's good for human bodies. I also have occasional oat milk coffees, but oat 'milk' is a bunch of man-made trash, soooo.... Gear stick ting: I had that before when something was loose and jamming the stick - some sort of coil. Don't think the guy even charged me to fix it. You need to find a reliable mechanic who's kinda bredrin, if you know what I mean. Sometimes you need them favours...
