my comfort person is my bf Txeru. He is a trans man and I'm a non-binary/trans man so we understand each other on that spectrum, we also deal with abusive/manipulative parents as well. Whenever either one of us is upset or feeling horrible after a bad day we can freely talk and express our hurt and sadness without fear of being told we are looking for attention and in the wrong, all tho we do call each other out on our bull shit. We do understand each other in a way I've never had anyone to understand me. And the weirdest part is that we are a long distance relation ship but I think that because of that we won't be us reliant on each other to live and we can survive a week without talking to each other.
