As someone who also owns a majority of Valorant’s cosmetics, my friends would go furious when I choose to equip a Minima Phantom over something like the Ion, Oni or, Singularity. I love every skin in the game and I even spend time to find matching buddies for all of them. It’s hard for people to relate to us because a majority can only dream to own multiple skin collections. You cannot blame them. But the fact is that once you’ve owned everything, you start to appreciate items on the lower end; items that are usually under-valued by the community and rarely used from a preference standpoint.

YES. I have the Reaver Operator and my friends gets mad at me for using the Infantry Operator or the Minima Operator. They also get mad at me for using the Champions Vandal and Wasteland Vandal over the Elderflame Vandal. So as a joke, when they ask me to equip the Elderflame Vandal, I sometimes remove the finisher and the animation part of the skin. Now they're mad at me for using the Stiffy Elder.

I absolutely agree that finishers are overrated. Two of my all time favorite skins are the Infantry Guardian and the Wasteland Vandal and I actually like that they don't have a finisher. I have the Prime Vandal, but I equip the Wasteland over it most of the time, because I like it so much. I think they should add more of these more realistic and/or detailed skins.

I only bought 1 skin and its the Forsaken Vandal, 0 regrets. The only skins I swap it with in game are SOL and RGX. Also the Forsaken is basically 2 skins in 1.

I totally agree with your take at the end of the vid, I got a bit tired of my fully upgraded Ion phantom and SOL vandal so I joingly put it on lvl 1 for a few games to spitte my friends, but after those few games that I played; I kind of got attached to the unupgraded variant of the guns and realised how clean the looks are. it actually lead me to buying the recon phantom since it was just a phantom with the default sound but a clean look with a random attatchment gimmick.

Honestly the reason reaver vandal is so overhyped is cuz riot rarely releases any great skins like reaver. So most ppl use only a small number of skins. To fix this problem they should either release skins more often or add more nice variants to existing skins like a black version of the ion phantom for example.

I'm about to get bashed, but IN MY OPINION the Oni set is literally just a normal sounding gun with a kill finisher and kill banner... the most you get is the green effects when you shoot and it's really nothing special, I'd rather pick up a spline phantom than an Oni Phantom because they sound the same. It's like the Reaver of Phantom skins where you see it everywhere. Keep up the great content btw!!

Got a good few Vandal skins, Glitchpop, Reaver, and Prime, and as well as a few lesser "rarity" vandals, but to this day I stick to my 'Ego Vandal'. It's clean, It's smooth, there's no janky animations, it's not too distracting, it doesn't sound weird, it's not RGB, and most importantly; I just absolutely adore the look of that skin.

The only two bundles I have is the recon and xenohunter. The guns are so detailed and well made. I really wish that riot releases a vandal version of these skins. I currently using forsaken and glitch pop, but mainly the prime. If a recon or xenohunter vandal come out that's my new main gun.

Honestly, I never see people using the Champions vandal and I know I use it because most skins are PTL. I love default looking skins with little to no effects. Don't get me wrong. I have reaver, elderflame, all the good ones, but I prefer the least VFX SFX ones. I love the champions one because it gives me a different kill sound and it's still default looking 😊

Imo, Select and Deluxe edition skins are the most underrated skins in the game, Select edition skins are mostly retextures but the color schemes are 8/10 times great, and Deluxe skins, oh don't get me started on Deluxe skins, they are all so underrated to the point that i wonder if Premium and Ultra edition skins should even be created
