Oh my, the toil and hardships of life that we carry out of love and obligation, respect and thankfulness. What a beautiful reminder that life is not all about us; it’s about caring and loving, and giving back - doing unto others as we would have done unto us. Thank you.

I think one message in the film could be that the mom had lived a full life with rich memories of her home land. Like the crumbling home and the goat that once bare milk, the mom accepted her fate.The son wasn't ready to lose his elderly mom and wanted desperately to take her with him.There wasn't more for her to see beyond her home. She treasures her memories and just wanted to cherish the time she had left with her son. The stone signifies stories from her past of a home she loved and belonged. This is why she carried it with her until the end. Very well designed film that took me along the emotional journey with each character.

I moved back to my hometown and took care of my mother until she transcended, and helped my father who lived 4 miles away as they had divorced many years before. My father died first. I did whatever I could for him too. My mother died 15 yrs later. I always thought I'd have a windfall and build a new home along a river as we both liked rivers a lot, plus have a riverside studio for her to work on her writing and drawings. We looked at used small pontoon boats, and I talked of us going on the rivers and lakes around us. She would smile as we dreamed. I said that on this very big lake I would have a very simple kind of tarp sail and go with the wind then motor our way back. The windfall of money never happened, and out of a couple of pontoon possibilities both were in too bad of condition. It all never happened. It's nice to dream but did not let it overcome us. We also were happy and lived for the beauty of the present moment, each day, and did a lot of fun things. There were difficult days, but we perservered. She was my best friend ever. It was hard for me to see this beautiful animation story, but it is a great story. Thanks FABW!

@@rangolimukherji2043 Thank you Rangoli for your kindness! I keep birthday cards and other cards she gave me with special messages on my apartment wall for positive affirmations. Three times we went through the western states of the USA and she loved it. She didn't like desert type of environs in Arizona, just some places, so it wasn't always "perfect". We had fun and I sold my piano music on the way, but not so it dominated the trips. She loved the mountains and once in a while would say, "Don't you wish we had a U-haul trailer behind us?" U-haul is a popular company many rent their trailers from when they are moving. I know I must remove the inspiring cards from my walls some day as really the positive affirmations should really come from within. It's just hard to let go, yet she is with me so I don't need to think that way. THANKS!

Obviously I have absolutely no knowledge of your poor mum's circumstances but here's a thing. It's possible she was in the throes of severe post-partum depression - yes, it can manifest years down the line - in which case, she may have been so irrationally fearful that she wasn't good enough as a mother that she chose to leave you in the physical world and live instead in your heart as a tiny diamond - guiding and loving you in a way that could never be 'wrong'. In that way, her love for you has been extravagant and beyond understanding and something only you could ever know. Please, allow yourself to be at peace. (I hope I haven't offended you in any way.)

I have kids now, and I see my wife's love to them, that I can tell: if you feel grief, your mother would feel 10 times griefer than yours for what she did, so there should be something beyond her, so Dennis, be peace and love yourself.

There's no damn allah! There's only one true living God and his name is YEHOVAH!!! Look up the amazing discoveries of Ron Wyatt on KZbin and check out the site, Truth Shock TV on KZbin and see how every Bible on earth has been supernaturally changed!!!! It's a huge end times sign and God YEHOVAH is warning humanity that time is very short until his great return!!! You people worship Satan and a rock! Muhammad was a pedophile. You need to seek the real Lord and see how he died for us and his blood had to fall on the mercy seat for the forgiveness of our sins!!! Watch all of Ron Wyatt's videos especially his one about finding the Ark of the Covenant and if you need to see that the Jewish people are the true chosen watch the documentary called, Against all odds Isreal Survives. Also watch, 25 Messianic signs of Christ return. You'll see how God protects his people!!!!

I miss my dad who battled cancer, and I was fortunate to be beside him in his last moments. One of my brothers was killed by ISIS, which was an enormous loss. Then, two years later, I lost my second brother to cancer as well. It broke my heart into a million pieces. You don't truly appreciate your family's blessings until you lose them. Take care of your parents and your family, everyone; they are our treasures.

My mother in law got sick, we were far away from her, somehow we convinced and got her travelled to live with us. She was away from her community, she wasn't very happy about it. However she was happy about our treatments and when she asked to go back the pandemic travel bans and she getting better helped us convince more to stay until she's a 100% well. However months became years and she wanted to travel back for a short visit which we let her to. But on her return, after a few months, she passed away. Still to the date a dark sorrow in our hearts. Painful when think about it. She was fine with us for years and sickness was curing. What a loss.

I had selfish parents. I refused to go back to my fathers house. He died alone. I had to see to my own needs being disabled. He was a rotten father. My mother hated me since I was born. Later we came to terms. I am alone now, my brother and two sisters have passed on. I have a son but he has no time for me. All my aunts and uncles are gone. They knew how bad my parents were and helped me for years. Covid19 makes life a lot harder for the disabled. I have been waiting for a wide wheelchair for 5 years. God bless all of you who have suffered.
@paragwankhede57634 жыл бұрын
IMHO i think children take too long to make a decision- the whole village was empty. Finally when they do make a decision its both painful and late. Taking care of elders is needed but taking care of them at the right time is a must. His mom did not wish to go but she still did it for both of them. She even carried a rock which means she was already carrying the burden of the past (the rock) with her which ultimately his son had to pull throughout the journey. Leave burdens behind which will be for greater good for everyone. I believe the moral of the story was time, belief, sacrifice and leaving old burdens behind.
