Man this deck was so good to use during the beast festival. Everyone was trying to use the spider Xyz and Bird Xyz to OTK and this deck just shuts them down.

Glad to see someone had fun with this...... I only did during Legend anthology cuz the beast event wasn't as kind for me. This deck really needs some more helpful starters (even after the new Drytron/Ursarctic card) and maybe some protection.

Okay so, you know those Dark Synchros from 5D's, where they're summoned by subtracting the levels of the Synchro materials? Well this archetype is basically that in a nutshell.

Im trying to figure out how you are supposed to use this with drytron. I mean they have a few cards together but i just dont see how they would mesh in game

When they actually made Dark Synchro mechanic into the real game and the designs are so good, too bad it suffers from requiring so much card disadvantage just to function even they print a spell that is more or less draw 7 at max that a lot of decks would kill to have.... and even that still not enough. I'd hope this deck can get really good someday.

This deck has some of the most broken support that would make many decks very strong, but it mostly does jack all😅 I mean imagine something like Kash/Vanquish Soul/Purrely or god forbid Dragon Link having a card that lets them draw a card for each summon😂

I actually run Ursarctics in the TCG and run circles around most link and Xyz decks. The current support out is so good it keeps them rather consistent and requires a lot of work to even bother breaking a board when your Extra Deck is locked out entirely

No, you've got it. If they don't have a level and special summoned from the extra deck, Septentrion will just negate their effects.

That's correct. There a new level 1 synchro support later on that, if used to summon him or grand chariot they get this effect: Opponents extra deck summon with levels have their effects negated. So once that comes out this deck basically seals off the extra deck.

Wait, I might be crazy hear but….what if you combined Ursarctic with Generaider?? Because, the field spell can summon tokens for negates with the Generaider monsters, Generaiders are level 9 so the subtractive aspect can still work, use the token and a bystial for Chaos Angel so it protects all your monsters with an additional protect for the synchros. Like am I crazy for suggesting this??

@@carmelle127 U can also keep Diviner of the Herald in the deck so when your down in life points, normal summon it while a generaider is on the field and synchro into an unaffected psychic end punisher, at least to stall for bit if nothing else

13:48 saw that play. Honest question; were you trying to resummon Spetentrion off Polari's effect or were you trying to make the opponent's Xyz you stole live for your use? That was a very confusing play

Looked like a misclick. The field spell can only banish 1 per turn and he already used it so when he activated that effect he had to tribute from the field.

I genuinely think it was a misplay and an easy one at that since you can't resummon Septentrion off Polari's effect since Sept. can only be special summoned from the Extra Deck and no other ways can cheat him out conventionally. Its a common mistake especially when not knowing the deck like that

I hate when Konami do decks like these. Where they make something cool looking but then bails on the deck because they don't know how to make it good. The fact they barely got support is just sad. They even tried to fusion them into Drytrons which made no sense at all. All they had to do was make better cards for this archetype. Two xyzs and a broken synchro monster that is hard but easy to summon.
