I am in the middle of an Incan domination game on this map and it is wild and incredible. The early mountain tunnels make you feel like you just have warpgates everywhere

Love these voronoi maps. And yes, working the bermuda triangle tiles is important. The AI always gets crazy science on these maps.

Isn't there a mod to improve the play of the AI? Cause its not the bonuses that matter, but how the AI just plays...weird and does some off the wall stuff that allows you to catch up from what I have seen. I think it would test you a lot more if the bonuses were taken away from the AI, but actually played a lot better to actually challenge you by playing well instead of brute force. Just my two cents, and I can be wrong :)

He tried a couple of AI enhancing mods a few times. I also tried them myself. Some of them are interesting, but still not that good. Also, I am not those mods are already patched for the many new leaders that came out recently.

The Voronoi script is absolutely mad and it's actually got a really cool name. It looks like a *Voronoi Diagram,* which is a kind of, well, diagram split up into sections that are centered around a series of focal points; each section consists of all the points on the map that are closer to their focal point than any other focal point. Kind of hard to explain without a visual so I suggest looking it up, it's pretty cool.

You won`t believe me, but the last game i played, i have spawned 3 tiles from the bermuda triangle. At the 5 turn i was able to buy the hecs and at that turn a had +10 science from 2level city, wothout pingala and campuses. Later when i had shipyard and halicarnassus the sea tiles where fantastic. Maybe some time later i can find that seed, if you interested

Ryan, just remembered, ur playing Vietnam, not a single specialty district can be putted outside woods, marshes and forests, and last time I checked, you can't simply put a woods in the middle of the deserts, even if closed to Sahara el beyda 🤣 just replan all that silly ideas of what you wanna do around that wonder, can't even be preserve it I think 🤔

Domination on this map type is incredibly tedious unless you have Mountain tunnels (which have to be set up well in advance) or GDRs. Trying to get a whole navy/army through the random bermuda triangles is incredibly annoying. Also, I'm fairly certain you weren't supposed to have access to anything past the Sahara. If it wasn't for a passable natural wonder, your starting lake is normally completely surrounded by an unbroken line of mountains. That's actually quite fortunate since it gives you a lot more space. If not for that you'd be limited to only the cities you can found in your starting mountain ring until Cartography.

I would say Work Ethic is better than Feed the World when you have the right set-up for it, but it's more specialized and requires very specific pantheons & civs. Feed the World is just generally good in all situations and is much more forgiving/flexible. Work Ethic also effectively is a -1 economic policy slot since Scripture is now your bff forever

I always had Civ 6, but I was never able to get into it (from civ 5). I'm Vietnamese American, so after Vietnam dropped I immediately loaded up and started playing - been addicted since. Now I can't even go back to civ 5 :)

Really dumb question: at 23:31 when Ursa opens up his city's production menu, it auto-shows the queue. Whenever I click on the production menu for a city, I always have to manually swap over to the queue. Is this a base game setting or is this a UI mod he has installed? I don't know why anyone would ever not want it to auto-select the Queue option tbh...,
