Yeah, taking even the slow ferry at Colonia del Sacramento is a pretty expensive thing, not to mention the catamaran from Montevideo. I would take a weekend trip to Montevideo/Buenos Aires everytime I got the need for some European feeling when I was living in Brazil

Great videos Petro! The beach ride was epic! You're a true inspiration. I watched A Long Way Around probably almost 15 years ago. I was never that much intrested in motorcycles but at that point I started thinking it would be nice to have a dual sport. 2 years ago I bought a 1990 KLR650 Tengai. With 10k mi. on it been fixing it up and doing some riding. I hope to go on some adventures soon but at 51 don't know if I'll go as far as you but I love your videos. Keep it up and if you get to USA it would be cool to meet up and ride. Lots of great scenery here in this country, remember the West is the best isn't just a line from a Jim Morrison song. Ride on brother.

There's plenty of boats to reach BA. It usually takes 50 mins to reach to BA. The fare is between U$ 30 to U$ 120, depending on the ship and type of ticket.

Do you or are you in contact with your consulate? Seems that people who look European might be facing a little bit of trouble. Looked on the Facebook page of the Peruvian town that Ithcy Boots was in and they really were targeting her. Though I think being in a larger city you might be a little safer. Noraly is getting a repatriation flight back to the Netherlands. It seemed to get pretty uncomfortable for her in Peru within the small town she was in. Best she with family & friends to sit it out and can always come back and resume her journey. Are you ok?

Colonia has beautiful buildings & trees. Did the ATM run on the ferry from Buenos Aires myself a few years back, but on foot, unfortunately, no bike. Funny thing was the ferry had music videos playing that were more like soft porn. It felt a little awkward with the mix of women & children of all ages, but I think we were the only ones that thought it was a little risqué. Not having much luck with those soft panniers Pedro. Hey, we ended up in the back room of a chemist exchanging money, did fell a little nervous.👍😎🏍🇦🇺

Already fixed it, replaced the mirrors. Unfortunately though, turns out they are zoom mirrors but at least they don't creep around anymore.

If you post a text for every video, it automatically can spread to Instagram, Twitter, facebook and co... It gives you a much better chance to have more viewers all over. And you can all do that with an instant single post on the blog page. Establishing this is sure a little work, but not much more than editing a good video. Get youtself on social media. A good example of doing this is Itchy boots... But you could do that way better, bcs she has no blog so far I think.
