Fun fact about this song - its A.R.Rahman's first time singing the vocals himself. He usually hires Suresh Peters to do the vocals like in Chicku Bucku Rayile, for some reason.... I think Suresh wasn't available to sing the vocals or Suresh said he was branching out to do his own stuff. Well... since then Suresh Peters has dropped from the face of the planet it seems.
