Urwerk x MB&F C3H5N309 Experiment ZR012 "Nitro" Limited Edition C3H5N309 Watch Review

My earliest memory of what got me into Haute Horologerie was discovering the Ulysse Nardin Genghis Khan, and the C3H5N3O9 Experiment ZR012 by MB&F and Urwerk. My love for high-end horology (and second rebirth of enjoying the hobby) began here! Awesome review, and alongside the Patek Philippe 5235g, this is another one on my grail list!

Love the rx7, and rotary engines. They were not very reliable but there rev limit was infinity. The watch is also very cool seen it on Wednesday show, and immediately thought of a rotary engine.

I like the watch better than the engine. I always amazed by how few functional RX8 and FD RX7s I see on the road. Honestly, I see more McLarens than functional RX Mazdas. Best, Tim

The HM10 is one of my favorite watches, so obviously I really like this one as well. Would totally overlap the limits of my wrist, but if I think about that I can’t even look at watches larger than 42mm.

So does this wacth need premix oil to reduce carbon deposit in the housing?

Unlike say, a Mazda RX-8, engine flooding, oil consumption, failed emissions, and catastrophic failure on the rotary wristwatch are unlikely. Best, Tim
