I Remember When U Was Little We First Went To Charlotte Taking 264 Through Downtown Wilson And To Zebulon And Raleigh(Before The Four Lanes And By-Passes And Took 64 To 49 And We've Been That Way To Denton(Old Threshers Reunion) Many Occasions Silk Hope (Near Siler City) The Old Fashioned Farmers Festival On Labor Day But I Have Took 42 From Wilson To Fuquay Barons And 55 To Apex And Picked Up 64 And Also Took I-95 To Dunn Or Benson And Followed 27 Or 421 Through Lillington Then Follow 421/Future I-685 To Siler City And Followed 64.49 To Asheboro

Awesome long video! Glad you got the full length. Interesting you went NC49, I don't know whether sticking with 85 past Greensboro and Durham is quicker, or this shorter by distance route in real life. What's your opinion Mike? 2 hours 37minutes from Uptown looks like a really good time too.

85 is usually quicker because you can go faster with no stops. Especially now that the construction in Cabarrus and Rowan counties is done. This one is definitely shorter. I take it sometimes if I'm not in a hurry because it's more scenic and you don't see much driving on 85 and 40 until you get to Durham.
