For now a JTF, joint task force exercise. But in South Korea, the squadron(s) of A-10C Thunderbolt II are leaving. Maybe the USAF, would do the PAF a solid, and send over some 24 surplus Warthogs? And if Australia or Canada want to donate some F-18s, the PAF should accept if only to be able to shoot the new AIM-174 with its crazy long bvr range. Just thinking out loud. GO PAF !!! TY USA(F) !!

The DND-AFP does not have enough money to operate A-10s. The cost to operate one per flight hour is around USD $6,000 to $19,000 depending on which source. Meanwhile, the flight per hour cost of each FA-50 is USD $5,000 to $14,000 depending on which source.

I'm tellin you right now, the PAF will not acquire the A10's new or used. There's quite literally no need for the Philippines to acquire that platform at all when the A29 Super Tucano is more than capable for the problems the Philippines faces. Not to mention they're expensive to use and maintain. And no, you can't use the A10's against China.
