Fort Sill Oklahoma I was there 1988 -1989. Hollywood barracks Charlie battery. 13 bravo. I don't really remember many of the names of the guys I trained with back then. I remember I was 23 years of age and the 18-year-olds thought I was ancient kept asking me why I waited so late to join. I do remember senior drill sergeant Segovia. I spent a few years in the Arizona and Virginia National guard units. Then in 1998 10 years later I joined the US Navy and spent four years in there. I'm proud of my service in both branches. Still love the roar of those 109 mm howitzers. And the smell of a gunpowder blast when the cannon goes off. Some good memories Good times and hard training. I must admit that it did help me develop some good work ethics in life.

I remember some of those Drill Sgts. We had to be there at the same time. I was Echo 3/321. Graduated Dec 88. We had to do SP Guard with ball bats because a bunch of m-16s got stolen. Do you remember DS Sagovia??? His little boy could pass the PT Tests.

@Fat Bear best I remember is two privates were guarding stacked weapons while the platoon was at chow or somewhere. A man dressed as a E-7 and driving a camo truck pulled up, told them he was there to pick up some malfunctioning weapons. He showed them some bogus forms on a clipboard and they let him walk off with several without asking anyone. How do M-16s get stolen all of a sudden??? Intimidated, dumb ass Privates. That's how.
