US Army bolster border security amid Trump’s immigration crackdown, 1500 migrants stranded at border

Donald Trump is back in the White House after four years and Trump 2.0 cabinet is back in action with full swing. In his first day in office, President Trump declared illegal immigration a national emergency. He launched his immigration crackdown, deploying the US military to aid border security and banning asylum. His January 20 executive order instructed the Pentagon to send troops to gain “complete operational control” over the border. In a significant development to Trump’s Immigration crackdown agenda, the US Military is doing everything to protect the US-Mexico Border. The US military released footage of Marines reinforcing the border fence with metal beams and barbed wire to curb illegal immigration . Because of the crackdown, approximately 1,500 migrants, gathered outside the Mexican refugee office (COMAR) in Mexico City on January 27.
