It is always a pleasure to watch Yasser (such positive energy) and Alex is so driven that she is also fun to watch! I could see the "downward pressure" Yasser created along the diagonal (8:31 into the vid) when he played his first red token on the top row (winning move!!!) and because it stops Alex from playing (in this case) the losing move in the far right column (where she accidentally played), I counted spots left for them to play and "even if" she did not play the losing move on the far right they would have taken consecutive turns played everywhere else available and Alex in the end "would have been forced" to play there and lose!!! I suspect Yasser knows well the "downward diagonal" pressure tactic!!!! :) Did he tell her about his experience here? ... I think not!! :)

😄 My friends and I meet him around 37 years ago, we dine and play chess, not formal event, every one brought his own chess set, he was on vacation and I saw a lot prettier girl than the botez sisters wait for him for more than 3 hours, I didn't knew who he was, while playing against 15 of us, he offer me a draw, but been a young college student obviously I refused and lost the game. In the end one of my friends told me that he was twice USA chess champion. From that meeting the first International active chess tournament ever play on a city in the america continent was born.
