I like your videos. Very informative. I just went back to Manila last weekend to visit my parents. I was born in the Philippines and former Filipino citizen, not dual. I entered Philippines with my US passport, they gave me BB(Balikbayan) visa which is 1 year. I did not filled up immigration card leaving Manila.

Just to let you know. I'm an American who flew to the Philippines in November. I had a one-way ticket from LA and an onward ticket for less than 30 days. I checked in at LA and the lady said "OK your all set". I asked her where to go and she pointed upstairs. On my way upstairs to boarding, the lady was chasing me down. " Sir, sir, I see now you only have a one-way ticket. You need to prove you are coming back here to LA. " I said " I don't want to come back to LA I have a ticket to Taipei in 27 days. " But when are you coming back here to LA ? " " I'm not coming back here to LA. I am traveling abroad ". I showed her the Taipei ticket and she said " Well, they might not let you go because you are not coming back to LA." WTF ! Anyway, I'm in the Philippines. I think they need to train this lady better and they need to inform these Philippine Airline people of the rules and regulations. She also said you do not need a declaration form, that's only for people coming from the Philippines. Hahahah Train and Inform the workers please.

Can I utilize a spouse 13A Visa and take care of everything up front? Have no problem paying the Visa extension fees. Just looking to avoid the rescheduling fees with the airlines. Which are a terrible rip-off. Why can't I just take care of everything up front, since I am married to a Filipina? Would that not be the most practical way?

Register family members separately is not a good description, if you first register yourself you can just add the family members under your name and every info that is the same you do not need to fill out again. So no need to register the rest of the family totally separate so to speak 🙂 Also if youre staying for more days after the 30 that is given to you and want to extend the visa for 29 days to start with, it is now just started working to pay online with visa/mastercard, that did not work before. So very easy goint to the Philippines nowadays I think 😀
